RTX Map Java Recreation
Project Status
Development of this project has been officially terminated. During the creation process, various difficulties emerged, and simultaneously, a similar world with the same goal was released that can be easily ported to the Java version. Following this realization, continuing development became impractical. Instead, I will focus on creating textures to support that released world - no further updates for this map will be provided.
Custom Textures and Configurations
This map supports exclusive textures developed for maximum accuracy in recreating the original RTX mapping. Each texture was manually crafted with thorough analysis of source materials.
Customized PTGI Shader Settings
Specifically for this map, I prepared unique PTGI shader settings that ensure proper color reproduction of the visual. The main shader code wasn't edited - adjustments were made exclusively to block properties.
The Ice Castle
Building this location required over five hours of dedicated work. Complex angles and limited original perspectives significantly complicated precise recreation. Some elements were designed speculatively, based on my understanding of the original layout.
Mineral Blocks Vault
This section of the map features some of the most detailed and authentic recreation close to the original (excluding the exterior tree decoration). I spent considerable time analyzing four video sources, determining the placement of each block, camera distances, and angles - iterating through every frame of the footage.
Important Guidelines
The map's construction is designed to faithfully replicate the RTX trailer's atmosphere. Please maintain integrity and refrain from destroying any placed blocks.
