Since the last version of this shader was created for Minecraft 1.18.2, significant changes have occurred in the rendering system. Mods like Iris, Optifine, Sodium, and the game itself regularly receive updates that may cause compatibility issues with this shader.

With default settings, the shader operates in Minecraft 1.21.1 using Iris 1.8.5 and Sodium 0.6.8. However, disabling waving liquids will cause the shader to malfunction in dimensions other than the Overworld, starting from Minecraft 1.19.4, Iris 1.5.2, and Sodium 0.4.10, and likely in earlier versions as well.

This straightforward shader, maintaining vanilla aesthetics, adds:

• Shadows and softer bluish lighting
• Animated water and similarly moving lava
• Dynamic shadow intensity that changes with the time of day
• Support for shadows in the Nether and End dimensions
