Welcome to version 5.0 of Woods Perfected — the most comprehensive and thoughtfully crafted update in the project's history. After four years of continuously refining the appearance of wood in Minecraft, I can confidently say that this texture pack fully lives up to its name. If you're familiar with V4 or earlier versions, prepare for radical changes — in update 5.0, not a single wood texture has been left untouched.

All types of wooden planks have been completely reworked — they feature new color schemes and unique patterns for each wood type. Species such as spruce, jungle, and cherry utilize variated textures, while mangrove and other woods received entirely new shapes that make them visually distinct from the rest.

All buttons, pressure plates, fences, and doors have been completely updated. Each block now features a unique texture that perfectly matches its shape and dimensions. The doors deserve special mention, as they've gained impressive three-dimensional elements.

The bookshelves are the true pride of this update. They turned out incredibly beautiful and aesthetically pleasing! Creating variated textures with connected block effects while preserving the vanilla game atmosphere required significant effort and time, but the result was definitely worth it.
