Villager Career Variants is a resource pack for Minecraft version 1.12 that recreates unique appearances for villagers according to their professions. All skins are designed in the original style of the classic game before the release of update 1.14, allowing players to preserve the authentic gameplay atmosphere.

Important Information

The resource pack was developed before the official Minecraft 1.14 release, so you may notice minor differences with the final version. This is explained by the fact that the initial skins were created based on preliminary materials and concepts of the future update.

Question: Villagers created through commands or natural spawning have the wrong skin!

Answer: This is a minor Optifine error. To fix it, simply exit the world and re-enter it.

Question: Is porting to another game version possible?

Answer: After full development completion, porting to all versions supporting Optifine's CEM technology is planned. However, no guarantees are provided.

Question: Why is there no version for Minecraft 1.14 and above?

Answer: This doesn't make practical sense since version 1.14 parameters already include these functions by default.

Question: Will there be support for community mods?

Answer: Theoretically possible, but this depends on the need to modify existing models.

Question: Can I use your resource pack as a base for my own project?

Answer: Of course! More content using Optifine capabilities is wonderful! Just be sure to use it exclusively as a sample and completely replace all elements with your own creativity!
