Twemoji Visibility

This resource pack completely replaces standard Minecraft emojis with the familiar Twemoji emoticons widely used in Twitter/X and Discord.
🛠️ Core Information
If you experience crashes or unusual behavior in Twemoji Visibility versions 1.5 and above, we recommend switching to the latest 1.4.x version, which is highlighted in green in the release list.
💬 How to Use Emojis
Several methods are available for inserting emoticons:
- Windows: Windows + period opens the emoji menu
- MacOS: Control + Command + Space calls up the emoticon panel
- The Symbol Chat mod provides official integration with this resource pack
⚠️ Important Limitations
Minecraft does not support compound emoji sequences, which also affects this resource pack. This means some complex emoticons will display as several separate symbols. Specifically, country flags, skin tone variations, family combinations, and some special emojis (such as 😶🌫️ and 🐦⬛) do not work correctly.
To display emojis, you must disable forced Unicode font: Game Menu (Esc) → Options... → Language... → Font Settings... → Force Unicode Font (turn off).
🔧 Server Settings
When using the DiscordSRV plugin on a server, set the EmojiBehavior parameter to show in the config.yml file so all emojis sent in chat appear as emoticons rather than their text names. Only the server owner can change this setting.
🧪 Beta Version
The beta version of the resource pack supports displaying emojis on text of any color, not just white. However, it's marked as testing because emoticons may display incorrectly in some interface elements. Details about possible issues are described in the release notes.
