Rebearth: Mud Edition
I adore Minecraft: Earth, and I'm very lucky that Ewan Howell created the Rebearth! resource pack dedicated to that game. This pack develops the ideas of the original, making them even better – features have been unified, some existing elements have been changed, and completely new ones have been added!
For this pack to work correctly, the original Rebearth: Remastered resource pack is required.
What has changed?
The cow model has been reworked: Moolips now have 4 flowers instead of 5, and the flowers on Mooblooms and Moolips are placed and oriented correctly.
The dyed cat texture and spawner texture have been updated: the old version was a remake of the promotional art, while the new one made by MCVinnyq is much more detailed! Giant rabbits are now more common to find.
Rubies (emeralds) have changed – the old texture copied the outdated ruby version, so I remade it according to the game. The spawner texture is also changed. The title screen now reads "Rebearth: Mud Edition" (thanks to Pinku Rinku!). Several status effects have been replaced with Boost icons from Minecraft: Earth!
Fancy chickens are more common. Sooty pigs only spawn in dark forests. Cluckshrooms, while still found on mushroom islands, rarely spawn in swamps and taiga biomes, and a bit more commonly in dark forests.
New features
The melon golem gets an angry "face" when taking damage. Lots of cool pumpkin hats have been added! More details below. Renaming a dandelion to "Buttercup" transforms it into a buttercup. Renaming an oxeye daisy to "Pink Daisy" transforms it into a pink daisy. Renaming a feather to "Fancy Feather" turns it into the Fancy Chicken's feather. Renaming an empty bucket to "Bucket of Mud" changes it to a bucket of mud (but it can't be placed).
Renaming a cow to "Tappable Cow" gives it a smooth texture. Renaming a pig to "Tappable Pig" also gives it a smooth texture. Tappable Chicken and Tappable Sheep will join them soon.
Freckled rabbits can spawn in forests. Tropical slimes now rarely spawn in swamps, as well.
Pumpkin Hats
Rename a carved pumpkin to:
- Carved Melon (melón golem head)
- Angry Carved Melon (angry version of melón golem head)
- Earth Journal (resembles librarian's book but looks like Earth Journal; can be placed in an item frame!)
In the final months before Minecraft: Earth's deletion, cool character creator items were released, and Pinku Rinku helped me recreate and add all of them :D
