Project: OverSimplified
Project: OverSimplified is a unique resource pack inspired by the official Minecraft trailers. My goal was to create a visually stunning game world using modern materials, reflecting the philosophy of 'better-simpler'.
The texturing structure is based on Bare Bones, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Each texture is equipped with PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) properties to achieve superior realism, including lighting, reflections, and texture depth.
IMPORTANT! Currently, this resource pack is only available for versions 1.13 and above. Development continues actively.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to use the pack?
For proper functionality, meet these requirements:
- Download Project: OverSimplified;
- Install shaders that support PBR textures.
What to do if textures don't appear together with Bare Bones?
Full visual continuity is achieved by loading both packs simultaneously: Project: OverSimplified and Bare Bones. Loading priority: ensure Project: OverSimplified is positioned above Bare Bones.
If materials aren't functioning with a compatible shader, check these settings:**
- BSL: Open the Material tab → Advenced Materials (option set to ON) → Material Format: select labPBR 1.3;
- Complementary: Under RP Support, choose labPBR;
- Kappa (and Nostalgia): Go to Advanced terrain render settings—Terrain and Reflections—toggle Resource Pack Refrections to ON;
- Sildurs: Within Normal Map, go to RP Support—select Parallax.
