Optimized Trims

This resource pack is specifically designed for datapack and resource pack creators who work with armor trims. The main goal of the pack is to significantly simplify the creation process by eliminating the need to prepare separate models for each trim color.

How It Works

The technology is based on using composite item models, which became available in Minecraft version 1.21.4 and above. This approach allows automatic color application to trims without manual preparation of multiple model variations.

Available Versions

Two modifications of the pack are available:

• With z-fighting elimination: includes additional textures that prevent graphic layer overlap when decorative trims are present
• Standard version: basic implementation without additional graphics conflict optimization

Important note: the pack does not provide ready-made visual content—its primary function is to simplify the workflow for modification creators.
