Tired of standard, boring death messages in Minecraft? Then meet the New Death Messages resource pack, which completely transforms your gaming experience! This modification replaces all regular death notifications with humorous, ironic, and reference-laden versions.
🎨 What Awaits You
The resource pack remodels all 99 typical death messages into completely new formulations. Want to know exactly what changed?
- Falling off a ladder: "%1$s stepped down from their position as boss of a ladder"
- Falling from a high place: "%1$s thought climbing was overrated"
- Death by lightning: "Zeus decided %1$s should die"
- Burning to death in fire: "%1$s got fired from their job of existing"
- Burning to death in lava: "%1$s discovered lava is not a cheeto colored hot tub"
- Death by cactus: "%1$s loved plants too much"
- Killed by mob: "%2$s was not %1$s 's friend"
- Killed by player: "%1$s and %2$s are no longer friends"
The resource pack also changes the death screen:
- "You Died!" to "Bummer..."
- "Score" to "Random Numbers" (because who really knows what it means)
🔧 Installation and Usage
The resource pack is fully compatible with versions 1.20.1 and 1.19.2. Simply install the file into the resourcepack folder and activate it in the game menu — all changes will occur automatically!
