Modern Font Pack - Caxton Edition

This resource pack is an enhanced version of Modern Font Pack with improved font smoothing. Unlike the standard version, it requires the installation of the Caxton mod by flirora to function.

The fonts are based on the Noto Sans family commissioned by Google. Five main regional variants are available:

Design Variants

• JP - Japanese variant of Noto Sans Japanese font

• KR - Korean variant of Noto Sans Korean font

• CN - Simplified Chinese variant of Noto Sans Simplified Chinese font

• TW - Traditional Chinese variant of Noto Sans Traditional Chinese font

• HK - Hong Kong variant of Noto Sans Hong Kong font

Operational Features

The first application of the resource pack may take several minutes as the Caxton mod creates a cache of font files.

Display issues with italic text have been fixed thanks to the Caxton update to version 0.5.6. However, some characters still lack bold variants and display in regular font weight.

Previous crash issues when changing mipmap levels, switching languages, or toggling resource packs were resolved in Caxton version 0.5.0.

File Naming System

File names follow the format: MFP-Caxton-[Game Version][Version Number][Language].zip

• 08 - version 1.18.2
• 09 - version 1.19.2
• 10 - version 1.19.3
• 11 - version 1.19.4
• 12 - version 1.20 and 1.20.1
• 13 - version 1.20.2
• 14 - version 1.20.3 and 1.20.4
• 15 - version 1.20.5 and 1.20.6

Version Numbering:

Starts from 00 and increases by 1 with each update.

Language Designations:

• Ж - Japanese characters
• К - Korean characters
• С - Simplified Chinese characters
