John's Enhanced - Alacrity PBR Addon

Adds PBR technology support to the popular Alacrity resource pack, significantly improving the visual quality of textures. The project is actively developing and already includes many core game elements.

Benefits of PBR Technology

This addon uses professional materials created in Substance 3D Designer that provide realistic lighting interaction. The system includes normal maps, smoothness parameters, reflectivity, porosity, subsurface light scattering, emission, and ambient occlusion.

• Various grasses with additional layers

• AndRespite, granite, and diorite
• Different types of ice
• Amethyst crystals
• Structural elements: anvils, hoppers, cauldrons

Light Sources

• Fire and fire-related elements
• Lava flows
• Magmatic formations

Technical Requirements

Mandatory Components

• Base Alacrity resource pack
• Fabric (recommended over Optifine)
• Advanced graphics mods: EMF, ETF
• Continuity for connected textures

Recommended Shaders

For maximum visual quality, installation of one of the following shader packs is recommended: Bliss, Photon, or Complementary. Requires LabPBR parameter configuration with resource pack mode selection instead of hardcoded values.

Additional Mods

• Iris for shader functionality
• Euphoria Patch for extended features
