Functionality
The Icons Fix resource pack addresses a specific but important issue for many players - it fixes the original Icons resource pack by removing certain elements that might be perceived as intrusive.
Key features:
- Removal of the advertisement icon from both the main game screen and pause menu
- Disabling splash texts added by the Icons resource pack (random game messages)
Installation Requirements
To make the fixes work, the original Icons resource pack is required, since its function is specifically to correct elements of this particular pack.
Installation Process
Installation is extremely simple - just set up the resource pack through Minecraft's standard interface. However, it's extremely important to place Icons Fix above the original Icons resource pack in the list of active packs for the changes to apply correctly.
Version Specifics
There's a technical specific regarding versioning - any version of this resource pack will successfully hide the advertisement icon regardless of the Minecraft version. However, there's a nuance with splash texts: each game release contains its own set of these messages.
If you install a new version of the fix on an old Minecraft version, newer splash texts will appear in the game, and vice versa - an old version of the fix on a new game version will limit the message list to outdated variants.
