Greener Leaf Litter
The 'Greener Leaf Litter' resource pack completely transforms the appearance of fallen leaves, making them more lifelike and natural. Instead of the standard brown color, players will see various green shades that match specific biomes in Minecraft.
Key Features
The leaf litter color map is replaced with a version that perfectly matches the color palette of regular foliage and vegetation. This means the shade of fallen leaves will change depending on the location, creating a cohesive and harmonious natural picture. For those aiming for a maximally GREEN and natural look of the surrounding world, this solution becomes an ideal choice.
Additionally, the appearance of the held item is changed—it's now green instead of brown.
Supported Biomes
The leaf litter color palette is individually configured for the following biomes:
- Forest and Plains
- Birch Forest and Old Growth Birch Forest
- Flower Forest
- Meadow
- Cherry Grove
- Jungle, Sparse Jungle and Bamboo Jungle
- Savanna and Desert
- Taiga and Old Growth Taiga
- Snowy Plains and other snow biomes
- Pale Garden — with unique grey color
Compatibility Limitations
Changes do not apply to:
- Dark Oak Forest
- Swamp and Mangrove Swamp
- Badlands
These biomes use hardcoded colors in the game, so leaf litter in them remains the standard brown shade. An update will be released as soon as the developers provide the ability to edit color maps for these locations.
System Requirements
