Generation 9

This resource pack works ONLY with Generations mod installed. It adds all necessary resources to display ninth generation Pokémon in new detailed models with high-quality graphics and provides the ability to obtain them in the game. The resource pack is compatible with both Fabric and NeoForge versions of Minecraft. We recommend using our ready-made modpacks for quick installation of all necessary components, including this and other resource packs.

Pokémon Models and Animations

Immerse yourself in the world of Pokémon in Minecraft with high-quality high-polygon Pokémon models. Our development team spent over two years creating the special RareCandy rendering engine from scratch, which ensures smooth gameplay and perfect integration with Cobblemon. Explore the game with fully animated models, including idle, walk, run/fly, attack, sleeping, roar, fainting, and happy animations!

Expanded Pokédex

Master the huge world of Pokémon with Generations through seamless integration of the entire Pokédex into Cobblemon - from the first to the ninth generation inclusive. How does it work? Cobblemon already contains basic files and species data for the entire Pokédex, so we just need to activate them, create spawn data - and voila! Magic happens!

Installation Tips

If you're new to modding, we strongly recommend using our ready-made modpacks. We have two versions - for Forge and Fabric. How to choose? Refer to our getting started guide.

Usually, installing modpacks is done with one click. Simply download Modrinth App, find Generations in the modpacks section, and click "Install"!

If you prefer manual installation, download all dependencies from our downloads page and place them in the mods folder along with Generations files. For up-to-date information, we advise referring to our installation guide on the wiki.

Configuration settings are not required, but if you want to customize gameplay to your liking, check out our configuration wiki page that describes all available parameters.

Our team was previously known as developers of Pixelmon Generations mod for version 1.12.2 - with millions of downloads over more than 6 years of development. Generations (now with a shortened name and updated brand) aims to transfer all features from the classic Pixelmon Generations you are familiar with to modern Minecraft and Cobblemon.
