This resource pack works exclusively with the Generations mod installed. It adds all necessary files to display fifth generation Pokémon using high-detailed 3D models and enables their acquisition in-game. The resource pack is compatible with both Fabric and NeoForge versions of Minecraft. For the complete Pokémon experience, we recommend using ready-to-play modpacks that include all essential mods with a single click.
HD Models and Animations

Our team spent over two years developing the specialized RareCandy rendering engine from scratch to ensure smooth gameplay and seamless integration with Cobblemon. Explore the world with fully animated models, including idle, walking, running/flying, attacking, sleeping, roaring, fainting, and happy animations!
Expanded Pokédex
Unlock the vast world of Pokémon with Generations, fully integrating the complete Pokédex into Cobblemon - from the first to ninth generations. How does it work? Cobblemon already contains basic files and species data for the entire Pokédex, so we simply activate them, create spawn data, and that's it!
How to Start Playing
If you're new to modding, we strongly recommend using our modpacks. We have versions for Forge and Fabric. If you're unsure which to choose, check out our beginner's guide on our Wiki.
Modpacks usually install with one click. Simply download the Modrinth App, find Generations in the modpacks section and click "Install"!
If you prefer manual installation, download all dependencies listed on the downloads page and place them in your mods folder along with the Generations file. We recommend referring to our installation guide on the wiki for current information.
Configuration is not required, but if you want to customize your gameplay, check our configuration page on the wiki describing all available settings.

We're the team previously known as the Pixelmon Generations mod for version 1.12.2. Over 6+ years of development, we've accumulated millions of downloads. Generations (now with an updated name and branding) aims to transfer all features from the classic Pixelmon Generations mod you know into Generations for modern Minecraft and Cobblemon.
