FortyEight Emote: VK WEB

FortyEight Emote is a collection of custom resource packs that expand Minecraft with the ability to add various stickers and emoticons. My project focuses on integrating emoji from the VKontakte social network.

To use emotes in the game, activate the emoji selection panel by pressing Windows + period. Mac users can press Command (⌘) + Control (⌃) + Space.

Display features

Emoji display correctly only when using white color in the game text. This applies to the following elements:

• Nameplate identifiers
• Standard in-game chat
• Signs (must specify the white color code - &f)

Project development plans

• Expansion of emoji assortment: In the near future, the collection will be supplemented with all available images
• Multi-platform support: Emoji from popular manufacturers will be added - Samsung, Apple, Google, Microsoft
• Specialized collections: The possibility of integrating Twitch and BTTV emoji is being considered
• Version for Bedrock Edition: Development of a separate version for the mobile platform
• Visual content update: Adding new animated images
• Technical troubleshooting: For full functionality of all emoji, installing OptiFine may be required
• Minecraft-style design: Creation of unique emoji stylistically corresponding to vanilla game graphics
• Server integration: Development of a prefix for convenient identification of the resource pack in multiplayer mode
