Fire Rekindled: Animation Overhaul
What started as a small-scale project for adding alternative animations to fire and related elements has evolved into a comprehensive reimagining of nearly all animated textures in the game.
Each created animation consists of smoothly looping sequences of 32 or 64 frames, ensuring natural movement while preserving the spirit of Minecraft's classic style. The artistic approach remains faithful to Mojang's original aesthetic.
Technological progress hasn't bypassed this resource pack either. The vast majority of textures are accompanied by Normal and Specular maps conforming to the LabPBR standard. This means that affected blocks display detailed three-dimensional textures when Parallax Occlusion Mapping is enabled. However, it's important to note that not all shaders automatically apply POM to every block - in some cases, this option needs to be manually activated through the specific shader's settings.
