The British Rail Class 373, known in France as TGV TMST and marketed by Eurostar as Eurostar e300, is a French-designed and Anglo-French built electric multiple unit train. It was used for Eurostar international high-speed rail services from the United Kingdom to France and Belgium through the Channel Tunnel. As part of the TGV family, the train was designed with a reduced cross-section to fit British loading gauges. It was originally capable of operating on the UK third rail network and equipped with comprehensive fire protection systems for tunnel fire safety. At 387 meters in length, this train is the second longest and second fastest among regular passenger trains in the UK, reaching speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour.
