What is Clarent?

Clarent is a lightweight unofficial patch for the texture pack Maffhew's Excalibur. The main goal of this addon is to preserve the authentic Excalibur experience through forward compatibility of features, bug fixes, and support for various Minecraft versions. Clarent also serves as the foundational basis for The Round Table — a growing collection of modular expansions that enrich and extend Excalibur's capabilities.

Resource Pack Loading Order

💡 Recommended loading order for maximum compatibility:

1. Excalibur
2. Excalibur | Clarent Edition (required)
3. (Any other additional packs should load above Clarent)

Important:

• Clarent must load immediately after Excalibur.
• Other addons should load above Clarent.

About The Round Table

The Round Table is a collection of resource packs gathered around Excalibur, expanded by GrandPappyJay, offering broader version compatibility, additional visual variants and small enhancements — all designed to preserve the true spirit of Excalibur's world.

Development of Excalibur | Echoes Through Time continues, test versions are available in Discord. ClarentMod is in development (more features based on Excalibur). Due to time constraints, Excalibur | Fresh Animations development has slowed down.
