About Bits & Tweaks

Bits & Tweaks by ItsMemed is a comprehensive collection of texture and model improvements that transform the standard Minecraft while preserving its original style. This pack combines visual changes from various creators, creating a familiar yet refreshed look for the vanilla version of the game.

Main Features

Since the project launch in July 2021, over 50 unique functions have been added. Every change was personally selected by the author for harmonious combination of all resource pack elements.

Graphical improvements of game elements:

• Updated textures for equipment used in PvP and survival modes (armor, tools, weapons, rods, ender crystals, golden apples, resources, and much more)
• Reworked dark and transparent interface with Realms features
• Visual brewing guide

Redstone visualization and mechanics:

• Directional hoppers, observers, dispensers, and droppers
• Visual indication for note blocks
• Honey stage display
• Clean redstone with power level display
• Sticky piston sides

Texture variety and variations:

• Various wood plank types
• Different versions of dirt, gravel, grass, cobblestone, moss, bricks
• Birch log models, mushroom blocks, end stone
• Terracotta, andesite, diorite, granite, nylium, and bookshelf variations

Decorative and quality improvements:

• Connected bookshelves
• Brightened Nether
• Clear water
• Short grass and tall grass
• Soft wool
• Desaturated purpur blocks

Additional visual elements:

• High-quality Minecraft title textures
• Enhanced shield banner patterns
• Improved paintings (including "Avatar Elemental" series)
• Shader panoramas (unique for each game version)
• 3D sun and moon models
• Reworked Enderman and Ender Dragon textures

Technical improvements:

• Special hunger icon for golden apples (AppleSkin compatible)
• Hunger preview
• Alternative block mining texture
• Various ore textures (1.8.9 exclusive)
• Alternative enchantment glow
• Animated campfire items and echo shards
• Pink end rods
• "Technoblade Never Dies!" text in all versions
