Arthys' RPG Armory (ARA) Reborn

What is ARA Reborn?

ARA Reborn is an actively developing resource pack created specifically for the mod Arthys' RPG Armory. The Arthys' RPG Armory mod adds numerous unique artifacts and armor pieces to the game that can be traded from a new merchant found in mangrove swamps. However, the textures currently present in the mod (as of version 1.20.1 Public Beta) leave much to be desired.

Although the next update promises a complete texture overhaul using the renewed sprites, this resource pack will continue to function on versions 1.20.1 and below. Currently, version 1.20.1 is supported, but compatibility with 1.19.2 will be added in the future, followed by 1.18.2, and possibly 1.16.5.

Current Resource Pack Features

Currently, the mod reworks the standard textures for the following items:

• The Artificer
• The Armsbook
• The Axe of Quiet and Excalibur
• All pendants, including the Crystal Heart and Creeping Totem
• Both rings
• The Amulet and the Staff of Dispell
• All elemental swords, the Hammer of Agnes, and the Phantom Bow
• The complete set of Ebonite gear
• The complete set of Guardian gear
• The tactical wand and phantom caster
• The Soul Scythe
• The Placement Wand

Armor has an open design — the player's skin is now more visible, and in third person view it's easy to identify which specific pendants are equipped. The resource pack is designed to work in tandem with Arthys' Open Vanilla Armors (upcoming resource pack).

Pending Elements and Future Plans

Although ARA Reborn is mostly complete, some sprites still require additional work. Currently missing include:

• Spiked Shield
• Illuminator
• Skywarp Tablet
• Weather Cycler
• Weather Cycler interface
• Sculk Hammer
• All runic smithing templates
• Soul Hunter Robes set
• Devoid armor

Possible future improvements:

• Support for emissive textures
• Implementation of CIT packs

These elements will be added in later updates, after which the WIP status will be removed. The update schedule may vary, so it's recommended to regularly check for changes.
