Agricultural Automation Zen's Agricultural Automations
Updated Version for Minecraft 1.20-1.21
This datapack represents a reworked and improved version of the original Chewbarcus project, inspired by the popular Bonsai Trees mod. The main idea is to add automated plant growing functionality to vanilla gameplay using commands.
How the System Works
To create an automatic farm you need:
- Place a hopper
- Mount an item frame on the side of the hopper
- Put a flower pot on top of the hopper
- Plant any crop for growing in the pot
Then place one of the tools in the item frame:
- Diamond axe - for trees and cacti
- Diamond hoe - for flowers and plants
- Diamond sword - for bamboo and dead bushes
Operating Principle
Every 30 seconds the system automatically generates resources from corresponding loot tables. Automation works only on unpowered hoppers - you can connect them to a redstone circuit to temporarily disable the system.
