YDM's Vulture
New Predator in the Minecraft World
The YDM's Vulture mod introduces a new feathered hunter to the game - the vulture. These winged creatures inhabit arid biomes and bring unique interaction mechanics to the gameplay.
Behavior Features
Vultures possess developed hunting instincts. They track wounded creatures, attacking only those mobs whose health has dropped to 25% or lower. Before attacking, the bird circles above its prey for at least 10 seconds, assessing the situation before making a decisive strike.
Taming and Interaction
These feathered predators can be tamed using rotten flesh. After taming, the vulture will follow the player, but its hunting instincts remain unchanged - upon detecting suitable prey, the bird will temporarily leave its owner to hunt.
Use various types of meat for breeding and attracting vultures' attention. These creatures have natural resistance to poisons and can safely land on cacti without taking damage.
Habitat and Settings
The primary habitat of vultures is badlands. Spawn settings can be modified through biome modifiers and corresponding tags, allowing flexible configuration of these mobs' distribution in your world.
