World In a Jar

This mod allows you to create entire worlds inside ordinary jars! Become a true creator or simply enjoy limitless building possibilities.

What can you do with jars?

Jars provide enormous space for storing blocks - now storage problems will be a thing of the past! Create miniature snow globes, complex redstone mechanisms, or simply use them as convenient containers. Your imagination is the only limit!

How to get started

Mining bedrock

Start by mining bedrock with a netherite pickaxe. It may take several attempts to get shards.

Creating bedrock pickaxe

Upgrade your netherite pickaxe to bedrock pickaxe using a smithing table.

Further bedrock mining

Continue mining bedrock with your new pickaxe. You'll need 28 shards.

Creating reinforced echnoplast

Gather 7 glass and 28 amethyst shards to create 7 units of reinforced echnoplast.

Obtaining bark

Strip logs to get bark - you'll need 9 units of bark of any type.

Creating world jar

Create a world jar using a cork block, eye of ender, and 7 reinforced echnoplast.

Using the jar

Place the world jar and interact with it (right-click) to enter inside. To exit, simply interact with the jar again.

Permissions (not working)

This feature is currently not functional.

The number stated after the permission ID indicates the minimum OP level required for the user to gain access. The mod is also compatible with mods supporting Fabric Permissions API (for example, LuckPerms). Permission ID and OP level are specified respectively (in that order).

  • Allows the user to lock/unlock a jar. A locked jar cannot be modified. When interacting with a locked jar, a player without this permission simply gets teleported.
