I love Minecraft for the sense of freedom and childlike wonder it provides. It was this magic that I wanted to preserve and enhance by creating this mod.

Recommendations

For comfortable use of the mod, I strongly recommend installing JEI (Just Enough Items) - it will significantly simplify interaction with new recipes.

Music Discs

Krups

Krups are small humanoid mobs that run around your world. They can spawn almost anywhere there's sunlight, but are quite rare. These creatures play a key role in creating music discs.

There are two types of Krups: Wave Krups (with a television for a head) and Cardboard Krups (with an upside-down cardboard box with eyeholes). They are usually peaceful but become aggressive if attacked. They drop nothing upon death.

Disc Forging System

Music discs are created by Krups under certain conditions. You'll need:

• Blank Music Disc (crafted from 4 iron ingots and 4 iron nuggets)
• Musical Essence (created from a jukebox and 4 diamonds)

To get a specific disc, you need a special type of essence. By combining blank musical essence with certain items in a smithing table, you'll get the required type:

• Blank Essence + Spruce Log = Shire Essence
• Blank Essence + Birch Log = Birch Essence
• Blank Essence + Block of Clay = Clay Essence
• Blank Essence + Cyan Glazed Terracotta = 18 Essence
• Blank Essence + Diamond = Cloud Essence
• Blank Essence + Blue Bed = Cradle Essence
• Blank Essence + Emerald = Omen Essence
• Blank Essence + Diamond Axe = Dream Essence
• Blank Essence + Shulker Shell = Shell Essence
• Blank Essence + Eye of Ender = Ender Essence

Creation Process

Find a Krup and right-click to open the disc forging interface. Place a blank music disc and the required essence in the appropriate slots, then press the "Request" button. The Krup will create a disc for you, which will appear in the output slot.

Essence to disc correspondence:

• Shire Essence = Concerning Hobbits
• Birch Essence = Birch Bop
• Clay Essence = Clay
• 18 Essence = 18
• Cloud Essence = Clouds
• Cradle Essence = Cradle
• Omen Essence = Omen
