Wiretap
Server-side extension for Simple Voice Chat designed for Fabric that introduces specialized microphone and speaker blocks into the game.
Important Notice
When installing this modification on your server, you must inform all players about its functional capabilities. This project is created exclusively for role-playing games and should not be used for secretly listening to other participants!
How to Use
To begin working, you'll need to install this mod alongside Simple Voice Chat on the server. Make sure the voice chat is configured correctly. Create a calibrated skulk sensor and ensure you have at least one experience level in survival mode. Place the calibrated skulk sensor in an anvil and rename it to wiretap (case insensitive). After this, you'll receive a microphone block, and a speaker will automatically appear in your inventory.
Place the microphone in the location where you want to conduct listening, and install the speaker where you plan to listen to intercepted conversations. Both blocks will display a unique identifier in the tooltip - microphones and speakers with identical IDs automatically connect to each other. Avoid installing multiple devices with the same identifiers, as this will cause operational conflicts.
Available Commands
The /wiretap items command allows you to instantly obtain a microphone and speaker (requires operator privileges by default).
