Winter Coats

The Winter Coats mod introduces a collection of winter-themed armor to Minecraft, available in various strength and protection levels. Players can create sets from leather, gold, chainmail, iron, diamonds, and netherite.

Main Features

When wearing a complete set of winter armor (in any combination of elements), the character becomes attractive to arctic creatures. Polar bears, snowmen, and arctic foxes begin following the wearer, showing affection with hearts upon detection.

Any piece of winter armor provides complete protection from freezing, which is particularly useful in snowy biomes and when in contact with powder snow.

Winter boots allow safe movement on loose snow without the risk of sinking, opening up new possibilities for exploring snowy territories.

Armor Tiers

Six levels of winter armor are available, corresponding to standard Minecraft materials:

• Leather
• Golden
• Chainmail
• Iron
• Diamond
• Netherite

Additional Benefits

Piglins perceive golden winter armor as regular gold items - they pick it up when dropped and do not attack players wearing such a set (Fabric version only).
