Wings - Flight Mod for Minecraft

Discover the amazing world of aerial travel with the Wings mod! This addon introduces nine unique pairs of wings inspired by birds and insects that allow you to soar freely through the skies.

How to Obtain Wings

To craft wings, you need to mix various ingredients with Slow Falling potions. Each wing type requires specific components:

• Fairy - Oxeye Daisy
• Monarch Butterfly - Orange Dye
• Slime - Slimeball
• Blue Butterfly - Blue Dye
• Fire - Blaze Powder
• Angel - Feather
• Bat - Bat Blood
• Evil - Bone
• Dragon - Leather
• Parrot - Red Dye

Usage Features

Wings last indefinitely and only disappear after character death. To remove the wing effect, you need to drink a bottle of bat blood, which can be obtained by using empty bottles on bats.

To activate flight, press the flight key (default R) and enjoy free movement through the air!

In this version, wings are wearable items that are crafted and equipped in the chest armor slot.

Crafting Resources

Fairy Dust - A key ingredient for recipes, obtained from Fairy Dust Ore, which spawns with frequency similar to iron ore. Also used for repairing wings in an anvil.

Bat Blood - An additional resource obtained by using an empty bottle on a bat.

Amethyst - A new resource mined from Amethyst Ore, which spawns with rarity similar to diamond ore.

Crafting Process

Flight Control

To fly, equip a pair of wings and press the flight key (default R). Movement direction is controlled by where you look, and landing occurs by pressing the flight key again or touching the ground.

Mod Compatibility

The mod supports integration with Baubles, allowing wings to be equipped on the body over armor.

Development Plans

Currently, the differences between wing types are only in durability, but plans include adding more unique characteristics for each variant.
