WindowThonk
A simple mod that fixes several annoying aspects of window management in Minecraft, making it more convenient and predictable to work with.
Main Features
The mod offers three useful functions for improving interaction with the game window:
- Opening on the correct monitor — Minecraft now launches on the screen where the mouse cursor is located, rather than on the default primary monitor
- Simplified window title — the game window title changes to simply "Minecraft*", making it easier to identify in the system
- Window class change — sets the window class as "Minecraft" for convenient management through window managers (works only on Linux, probably only with X11)
Configuration
All changes are enabled by default. If necessary, you can disable individual functions in the windowthonk.properties configuration file located in the config folder.
