Version 1.3.0 (08/10/2025) - Surf Update

New Ancient Creature: Surfer

Surfer is a peaceful creature whose eggs can be found in Dead Coral. This unique mob can travel both in water and on land, though significantly slower on land.

Surfer Features:

• Feeds on any type of coral
• Can change color when fed large amounts of the same coral type
• Tamed using coral fans
• Can be saddled and ridden after taming
• Stores large amounts of oxygen and can restore player's oxygen
• Performs powerful jumps from water
• Breeds with sea pickles
• Can wear special Surfer Armor

New Item: Surfer Armor

Crafted from turtle scutes and works similarly to dog armor, absorbing damage through durability.

New Structure: Dead Coral

Found in the Stony Shore biome.

Version 1.2.0 (05/02/2025) - Paleo Update

New Mobs: Paleontologist

A peaceful villager who rarely spawns in mod structures and is most commonly found at Dig Sites. Can trade items found in the mod.

New Blocks

• Crusher Spikes - deadly spikes that can be placed on ground and under blocks
• Quicksand - dangerous block similar to powder snow
• Fossils - decorative blocks found at dig sites

New Structures

• Dig Sites - found in every biome containing Suspicious Sand, gravel, and ice with ancient creature eggs
• New variants of Mesa Temple, Ice Spike Castle, and Desert Ruins

New Enchantments for Ancient Club

• Blood Thirst - increases damage under potion effects
• Life Steal - restores health with each hit
• Hunter's Mark - increases damage against animals and ancient creatures

New Ancient Creatures

Glider

• Peaceful mob whose eggs are found in Abandoned Village
• Tamed with pufferfish
• Dances to music from jukebox
• Drops feathers while dancing

Soarer

• Neutral mob that attacks when provoked
• Tamed with raw Toxlacanth
• Can be saddled and flown over long distances
• Has limited stamina

New Items

• Glider's Feather - used for crafting arrows and Hang Glider
• Hang Glider - primitive alternative to elytra for gliding
• Raw and Cooked Toxlacanth - food with special effects

New Structures

• Abandoned Village - in jungles with Suspicious Gravel
• Frozen Nests - in mountains with Soarer eggs

Main Ancient Creatures

Eater

Neutral creature from Mesa Temple that attacks when approached. Its bites break shields, and roar causes fear effect. Can give alpha effect when fed ancient meat.

Walker

Peaceful creature from Ice Spike Castle, tamed as baby with spore blossoms. Can carry up to 4 players simultaneously and has 49 storage slots.

Crusher

Neutral creature from Desert Ruins, immune to projectiles. Spikes can be removed using chisel.

Unique Items

Ancient Club

Powerful weapon with iron axe damage and sword speed. Deals more damage with each consecutive hit.

Reinforced Shield

Created by upgrading regular shield in smithing table with Crusher's Spike. Deals damage with melee attacks and blocks projectiles.

Ancient Structures

Mesa Temple

Ancient structure in mesa biome where Eater eggs can be found.

Ice Spike Castle

Majestic structure among ice peaks, home of Walker.

Desert Ruins

Mysterious remains in desert where Crusher resides.
