Vivecraft

Vivecraft is a modification that transforms Minecraft into an exciting virtual reality adventure! You can play standing with room-scale movement or sitting comfortably in a chair.

This well-known VR mod has existed for many years, but over time some programming approaches became outdated, making development and collaboration difficult. Therefore, we completely rewrote it using modern methods to ensure relevance and better compatibility with other mods. Now Vivecraft works on Forge, Fabric, and Quilt!

Frequently Asked Questions

Wasn't Vivecraft only for Forge before?

Yes, initially the mod only supported Forge. But after completely rewriting the code, it became available for both Fabric and Quilt.

Can other players see my movements? What about NONVR, VSE, and VFE?

The mod includes NONVR mode. VR is disabled by default - it can be activated in the main menu.

For other players to see your hand movements, they need to install this mod, and the server needs the corresponding server mod. Server extensions VSE and VFE work, as does Fabric with them, but using them is not mandatory. Since version 1.0.0, the settings have become as flexible as those of separate server mods.

Is it compatible with MCXR?

No, this is a separate mod that does not interact with MCXR.

Does it run on Quest?

Not yet, but possibly in the future. Meanwhile, you can use Questcraft, which is based on a modified version of Vivecraft for compatibility with Oculus/Meta Quest.

Does it work with Sodium, Iris, and other mods?

Sodium - works. Iris - works.

Other mods haven't been tested yet. Mod compatibility is important to us, but it's a complex task. First, we'll focus on stability, then we'll work on compatibility.

What about Optifine?

Starting from version 1.0.0, Optifine is compatible with the mod but not required.

Is version 1.19.0 supported?

There is one version available for it, but no further updates will be provided.
