Get tired of mercilessly destroying natural landscapes just to get sand? Now you have a more elegant solution! The Vitrification mod allows you to create various types of glass from quartz, preserving the pristine beauty of the Minecraft world.
Transforming Quartz into Glass
The entire magic starts with obtaining quartz. From this material, you can easily craft a crucible by placing three units of quartz in a row on a workbench.
After creating the crucible, place it in any furnace along with fuel - and the process of turning quartz into a sparkling glass block will begin instantly! Interestingly, this glass-making method gives significantly more experience than traditional sand smelting.
Dismantling Quartz Blocks
Why spend quartz on standard glazing when you can use reliable quartz blocks? Full-sized quartz blocks are easily processed into four standard material units, while stairs and slabs yield only two parts each.
Color Game: Purple Shades
Secret Features
Amethysts! Forget about their crystalline formation mechanism on ordinary blocks. Just three amethyst shards in a row on a workbench - and you'll have a purple crucible in your hands! After smelting this crucible in a furnace, you'll get an unusual result - stylish purple glass! But true variety enthusiasts will appreciate the ability to create color mixes: - Two amethysts + one quartz = magenta crucible ...which transforms into attractive magenta glass. - Two quartz + one amethyst = pink crucible ...turning into delicate pink glass. ## Simplifying Amethyst Mining No need to set up mining mechanisms near amethyst stalactites in caves - just trust the mod's workflow. Standard amethyst blocks can now be directly transformed into four complete shards of materials.Dark Magic of Glassmaking
Add a touch of gloomy shade to the familiar mechanics! Isn't soul sand, after all, a dark variety of regular sand? Now you can ignite its perfect ether in a furnace and get the dark version of the familiar material.
The mod has been successfully tested with Fabric API version 0.91.0 for Minecraft 1.20.1 and should work properly across all 1.20.X line versions.
