Villager Death Messages (Legacy Fabric)

Requires the library mod Collective (Fabric) and Fabric API.

Villager Death Messages is a minimalist mod that notifies players whenever a villager dies. The message includes the villager's name (if custom), profession, cause of death, and last known coordinates. The mod also works with villagers from other mods.

Configuration

showLocation (default = true): When enabled, shows the villager's location in the death message.

mentionModdedVillagers (default = true): When enabled, also displays death messages for villagers from other mods. If you find a "villager" entity that isn't mentioned, report it through the issue tracking system.
