Variant16x: Biomes O' Plenty

The Variant16x: Biomes O' Plenty mod significantly expands building possibilities in Minecraft by adding numerous new variants of blocks from the Biomes O' Plenty mod. This addition creates a harmonious combination with the original content, offering players more freedom in construction and decoration.

Added Block Variants

Wooden Blocks and Their Derivatives

All types of wood and stripped logs now have additional variants: slabs, stairs, fences, fence gates, pressure plates, and buttons. Most variants (except buttons and hellbark blocks) burn in fire and lava at the same rate as original wooden blocks. All variants (except hellbark) can be used in a furnace with the same conversion ratio.

Wooden variants can be stripped with an axe, turning them into stripped versions. All variants (except buttons) can tune note blocks to the bass instrument. Pressure plates and buttons function similarly to their vanilla wooden counterparts.

Mud Bricks

Mud bricks have received pressure plate and button variants that function like stone equivalents.

Sandstone

All types of sandstone now have stairs, walls, pressure plates, and/or buttons. Stairs and walls can be created in a stonecutter.

Special Features

Infested Variants

Infested versions of andesite, diorite, and granite from Variant16x now generate in Biomes O' Plenty biomes. They appear naturally in Alps, Alps Foothills, Highlands, Highland Crags, Highland Moors, Jade Cliffs, Rainforest Cliffs, and Volcanic biomes. Activation requires the 'enableInfestedStones' parameter in the 'variant16x-common.toml' file.

Flower Variants

Peonies, roses, small sunflowers, and syringas from Variant16x now appear in Biomes O' Plenty biomes. Peonies rarely generate in Groves and Grove Clearings, roses in Lush Savannas, Dense Woodlands, Orchards, Tropics, Tropic Plains, and Woodlands, while syringas appear in Bamboo Blossom Groves, Mystic Groves, Mystic Plains, and Shrublands. All three flower types are rarely found in Rainbow Hills. Activation requires the 'enableSmallFlowers' parameter in the 'variant16x-common.toml' file.

Installation

Download the .jar file and place it in your mods folder. Make sure you have current versions of Forge, Variant16x, and Biomes O' Plenty installed. The mod also works on servers - ensure it's installed on both client and server.
