Vanilla Vistas

The Vanilla Vistas modification has been updated to version 1.16.5 and includes numerous improvements, among which are support for new vanilla world generation blocks and compatibility with biomes from other Forge mods!
Important note: Make sure you are using OpenTerrainGenerator-1.16.5-0.1.1 or a newer version, as it contains important fixes for oceans!

About the Modification
Vanilla Vistas is a world preset for Open Terrain Generator (required for installation) that completely reworks landscape generation and biome placement without adding its own unique biomes.
The main goal is to create diverse terrain with significant elevation variations that remains convenient for movement, while also providing sufficient flat areas for base building. This allows for a more picturesque and enjoyable world exploration experience while maintaining the simplicity and spirit of standard Minecraft.
All standard Vanilla structures are present in the world, and ore generation is completely identical to the standard Minecraft world.

Installation
For single-player gameplay (Forge), installation is very simple: just place the .jar file in the mods folder and use the OTG world creation menu to add the preset as the main world or as a separate dimension.
For servers, the installation process involves several additional steps. We recommend referring to the installation page on the OTG wiki, where you will find detailed instructions for Forge and Paper servers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Vanilla Vistas support biomes from other mods?
Starting from version 1.16.5 - yes! Simply install any favorite overworld biome mods, and Vanilla Vistas will automatically add them to the appropriate biome groups and generate them in the world. It's that simple!
Can this preset be used together with other OTG presets?
Only one preset can be used as a replacement for the main world, but using dimensions, you can add as many presets as you want.
Can this preset be used as a dimension if the main world is not created with OTG?
OTG presets can be used both as dimensions and as replacements for the main world. It's even possible to start a game in a standard world (or with other mods) and add additional dimensions through the single-player world creation menu.
More detailed information on how to do this, both in single-player and on a server, can be found on the OTG wiki.
