Vanilla++ — Expanding Minecraft's Possibilities

Important Note: Vanilla++ is an extension for the Vanilla+ mod, requiring the base version to be installed first. The version number of Vanilla++ indicates which specific Vanilla+ version you'll need.

New Structures

Trial Boxes

Based on Trial Chambers mechanics, these structures offer unique rewards for overcoming various challenges. The Aqua Box spawns in deep ocean areas, while the Sky Box can be found high in the skies above different biomes. Inside, you'll discover special items from Vanilla+ worth hunting for.

Monster Jails

These underground constructions serve as counterparts to traditional dungeons. They follow a similar architectural style but feature different layouts: containing just one enemy spawner, several vaults and chests, plus a hidden room in every location.

Pale and Tuff Monuments

Two monumental structures, each hiding a locked chest. Opening it requires a Small Key found in Stronghold fortresses. The Pale Monument appears in Cherry Groves, while the Tuff Monument spawns in Old Growth Spruce Forests.

Abandoned Campsites

Traveler campsites can be discovered in two distinct natural zones. The Birch Campsite settles in Old Growth Birch Forests, and the Snowy Campsite — in Snowy Plains. Nearby barrels contain basic food supplies, occasionally rare apples, and even special goat horns.

New Game Elements

Core Enchantment

This spell primarily comes from structures, though there's a minimal chance to obtain it from enchantment tables. Applied to chestplates and elytras, it increases the wearer's maximum health. Available in four power levels, with the fourth level adding an entire health bar! Most commonly found in Monster Jails and Sky Boxes — especially in their hidden areas.

Paintings

Four elemental paintings ("Earth", "Fire", "Wind", "Water") are now available in base Minecraft, though

two original artworks were also added! "Terminus" depicts an End City and stylistically references Van Gogh's "Starry Night". "A Stain on the Forest" shows a Woodland Mansion among trees — composition based on a game screenshot. Both works serve the same purpose as the "Wither" painting: hinting at the presence of certain objects in the game world.

Music Discs

Two compositions by C418 have been added. The first — "Dog" from Minecraft: Volume Alpha album, which wasn't included in the standard game version — can be found in secret corners of Monster Jails. The second — "Wanderstop", dedicated to the musician's new game, appears in Sky Box chests.
