V-Tweaks
V-Tweaks is a compact Vanilla+ mod that significantly enhances gameplay quality and works perfectly with any modpack. It offers extensive customization options while adding no new items to the game—only new mechanics and interactions! V-Tweaks' functionality is so diverse that it has its own detailed wiki page.
Block Tweaks
Automatic Harvesting: Simply right-click on mature crops, and the mod will automatically harvest them! You'll receive not only the main product but also additional seeds (minus one for automatic replanting). Works with most plants following vanilla logic.
Whole Cake: Breaking an untouched cake returns it intact. Now you can have your cake and eat it too!
Tree Falling: When the trunk is broken, the entire tree collapses to the ground, inspired by Tersnip's ChopDown mod.
Torch Ignition: Using a torch (or items tagged # vtweaks:ignition_item) on blocks that can be ignited (furnaces, redstone ore, campfires, and others except those tagged # vtweaks:torch_ignition_blacklist) instantly activates them.
Item Tweaks
Durability Info: Displays remaining durability of items when hovering.
Food Info: Shows hunger and saturation values for food items.
Cactus Protection: Cacti no longer destroy items, which is logical and convenient.
Entity Tweaks
Challenger Mobs: A customizable boss-like mob system based on data. Details available in the dedicated datapack section.
Chicken Plucking: Use shears to collect feathers from chickens! Cooldown is about 5 minutes, and the chicken takes no damage.
Spawn Control: A powerful tool to disable spawning of specific mobs (or entity types) in particular dimensions, biomes, or biome groups.
Peaceful Surface: Prevents mob spawns above sea level on most nights. Exception: new moon nights. Mobs still inhabit caves. Use the vtweaks:ignored_by_peaceful_surface tag for exceptions and vtweaks:peaceful_surface_blacklist_dims for dimension control.
Smaller Bees: Bees become half their size while retaining standard hitboxes. Very cute!
Pet Protection: Owners of tamed animals (or all players) cannot harm their pets.
Safe Creepers: Creeper explosions temporarily destroy blocks, which then restore along with block entity data.
Player Tweaks
Persistent Items: Items dropped on death no longer disappear over time.
Improved Falling: Boots with Feather Falling IV completely negate fall damage, transferring it to the boots' durability.
Recipe Tweaks
Anvil: Create custom anvil recipes through datapacks.
Fluid Conversion: Throw items into fluids to transform them (with JEI integration). Default includes converting concrete powder to concrete.
Tool Repair: Repair cost for tools is fixed at just 1 experience point.
World Tweaks
Disable Storms: Thunderstorms automatically turn into regular rain.
