Utility Vest Mod

What is this mod?

The mod introduces a special item — the Utility Vest, which comes in five different variants: leather, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. Each upgraded version adds an extra row of slots for saving hotbars.

The vest allows you to save your current hotbar layout and restore it at any time. This is especially useful during building sessions or when you carry multiple tools and need to quickly switch between them.

Curios is required for this mod to function. By default, the vest occupies a body slot.

How to Use

Save a hotbar: The default key combination Left Alt + Number Key saves the current layout. Each number key corresponds to a specific row in the vest's filters. The leather tier supports 1 row, while the netherite tier supports up to 5.

Load a hotbar: Pressing Left Ctrl + Number Key restores a previously saved layout with the exact items and order. Items currently on your hotbar will be moved to the vest's inventory if they match the preset filters, or returned to your general inventory if they do not.

Auto-fill: The X key (by default) automatically moves all matching items from your inventory directly into the vest, saving time on manual transfers.

Accessing the interface: R opens the vest's inventory when it's equipped in Curio slots. Shift + R displays the list of your active filters. You can also open this UI with a right-click (or Shift + right-click) while holding the vest.
