Upgrade Everything
This datapack allows you to upgrade all types of tools, weapons, and armor in the smithing table, turning useless mob drops into valuable finds.
Why is this datapack needed?
In Minecraft, mobs often drop iron or gold tools that are usually useless due to low durability and characteristics. With this datapack, you can turn any found item into a higher quality version simply by using the smithing table.
Upgrade capabilities
- Wooden item + cobblestone = stone item
- Stone or chainmail item + gold ingot = gold item
- Gold item + iron ingot = iron item
- Iron item + diamond = diamond item
- Netherite upgrade recipes remain unchanged
Compatibility and versions
The datapack works starting from version 1.16.x. Support for older versions is not planned. Updates will be released for the latest game versions as the developer's capabilities allow.
Installation
- Download the datapack archive
- Extract the upgrade_everything_vx.x folder from the archive
- Compress this folder into a separate .zip file
- Place the resulting file in the datapacks folder of your world or server
