Traveler's Compass

This unique compass will become your indispensable companion in exploring the Minecraft world. Unlike ordinary compasses, it can find not only cardinal directions but also specific objects in the surrounding space.

Main Features

The compass has its own inventory with 9 slots, allowing you to store multiple search targets simultaneously. It always points to the object closest to the player from the specified targets, significantly simplifying navigation.

Available search targets include:

• Any mobs (based on their drops or spawn eggs)
• Villagers (based on their trade goods)
• Blocks and containers (taking into account the contents of chests, furnaces, and other storage)

Ease of Use

The compass texture displays a special indicator showing whether the search target is above or below your current position. This is especially useful when searching for objects in multi-level structures or dungeons.

You can assign priority search targets using the Shift+click combination on an item. The compass will first search for the marked objects.

Compatibility and Settings

The mod works excellently with JEI (Just Enough Items), allowing you to search for items directly from the mod's interface (Forge version). Most features can be configured through the configuration file, including:

• Search radius
• Experience cost for use
• Black and white lists of objects

The mod is compatible with most other modifications, making it a universal solution for any modpack.
