Trap Sapling – A Camouflage-Activated Trap Maid

This mod creates cleverly disguised traps that appear as harmless saplings but instantly transform into lethal obstacles when mobs pass nearby.

How It Works

Craft a special sapling trigger by combining a bone block with a tripwire hook in a crafting table. Simply throw this device at any regular sapling to convert it into a dangerous trap.

Activation Mechanics

The camouflaged sapling does not grow naturally. Instead, it patiently waits until any creature approaches it, then instantly grows into a full-sized tree. This traps the mob within the trunk and branches, dealing continuous suffocation damage.

Important Notes

This trick doesn't work with dark oak saplings and azaleas—they cannot be converted into traps. For the most effective mob capture, it's recommended to use oak or birch saplings, which provide the optimal balance of tree canopy size and trapping efficiency.
