Tower of God Mod

Overview

This modification adds numerous elements to Minecraft inspired by the popular webtoon "Tower of God" by author SIU.

Main Features

Shinsu System

Shinsu represents magical water that permeates the entire game world.

Shinsu Techniques

Each Shinsu technique becomes available after defeating the corresponding Mentor who specializes in that technique.

After unlocking, you can apply techniques by holding the assigned key (default 'G') and performing specific movements. Movement patterns can be found in guidebooks dropped by Regulars, Rankers, and Mentors.

Each technique has its own cooldown time, Shinsu cost, and may have additional requirements specified in the guidebook.

Shinsu Qualities

Shinsu Quality determines a player's affinity for controlling specific elements and forms.

Each player can be assigned a Shinsu quality using a special identifier item. The assigned quality is not random - it depends on the player's recent actions.

Some techniques change depending on the obtained Shinsu quality. For example, the Manifest technique materializes the player's Shinsu quality as an item that can be used in combat or for various utility purposes.

Entities

Shinsu Users

Regulars, Rankers, and Mentors spawn naturally in the world.

Rankers and Mentors usually behave passively, but if attacked, they will retaliate. Regulars spawning in light behave similarly, however some of those spawning in darkness show aggression.

Defeating a Mentor gives the player access to their specialized Shinsu technique.

Shinsu control level, tension, and resistance increase after defeating Shinsu users whose skill exceeds the player's level.

Devices

Lighthouses and Observers can be crafted and used to summon various devices.

Devices can be controlled in combination with Shinsu techniques.

Lighthouses have spacious storage, emit light, and can be ridden.

Observers highlight entities they can see.

Weapons

Needles have high attack speed but deal less damage compared to swords.

Hooks are very slow but deal significant damage. They also pull enemies closer.

Spears have standard characteristics but can be thrown.

Suspendium

Suspendium is a new type of material and ore that can be found in high-altitude areas of the regular world.
