Touhou Origins

A modification for the Fabric loader that expands the capabilities of the Origins mod by adding various origins inspired by the Touhou Project universe.

Shikigami System

Starting from version 2.0.0, players can become a shikigami of another player. This feature works with any origin and provides an additional set of abilities.

How to Become a Shikigami

By using a written book titled "contract" on another player holding a lead renamed to "tether", you become their shikigami for life, gaining new abilities and limitations.

Shikigami Abilities

Faithful Protector - gain +1 to base melee and ranged damage, as well as 10% increase in movement speed while near your master.

Spiritual Gaze - always aware of your master's presence and can see their health as a colored glow. The master can also see you. Toggled using the secondary key.

By Master's Side - after 4 seconds of channeling, teleport to your master regardless of dimension and give them Resistance for 5 seconds. Costs 50 experience points. Activated using the primary key.

Linked by the Soul - if your master dies, you also perish.

Technical Features

To prevent compatibility issues, Touhou Origins provides two new keybinds specifically for shikigami (unbound by default).
