Tough As Nails: A Curios Expansion
Tough As Nails: A Curios Expansion is an addon for the Tough as Nails modification that introduces several unique accessories through the Curios API system. This addon creates a direct progression system for combating extreme temperatures.
Main Features
This mod is designed so that temperature effects maintain their significance in the early stages of the game, become more manageable in the mid-phase, and cease to be problematic in the late stages of gameplay.
New Thermal Insulation System
A special slot for Curios accessories "Thermal Insulation" has been added to the game, where you can place three types of thermal insulation pads:
- Heating - protect against freezing
- Cooling - prevent overheating
- Universal - provide protection from both temperature extremes
Each type of pad has unique crafting recipes, including the creation of special Firoze liquid for universal protection.
Technical Features
The mod adds new self-regulating redstone circuits that are used when creating thermal insulation elements. The system smoothly integrates into the existing Tough as Nails gameplay, expanding Curios slot capabilities and adding an achievement tree for complete progression.
