Torch Slabs Renewed

This updated mod represents a ported version of the original development, adapted for Minecraft 1.20.1+ on the Forge engine. The modification drastically expands the placement possibilities for standard light sources in your game world.

Enhanced Placement Options

With this mod, you'll be able to install regular torches and lanterns in completely new ways:

• Place on the upper surface of half-slabs
• Attach to the sides of slabs and stairs
• Install directly on lily pads
• Lanterns can also be hung on the side of standard solid blocks and fences

Improved Mechanics

When installing on regular full blocks, torches and lanterns can be attached to either the upper or lower part of the block — the choice depends on which specific point you're looking at.

💡 Innovation: Support for End Rods has also been added to the mod — they can now be placed on slabs.

Compatibility

The mod automatically works with custom slabs and stairs from other modifications provided they are instances of SlabBlock or StairBlock. Soul torches and soul lanterns have the same functions as their regular counterparts and can be installed in similar ways.

Requirements

For Minecraft versions below 1.20.1, it's recommended to use the original version of the mod, while this updated build is intended exclusively for 1.20.1+ on Forge.
