Tiny Pipes - Modular Mini Pipes for Comprehensive Systems
Full-sized pipes and bundles now available! (beta for 1.18.2 and 1.19.*)
This Forge mod adds compact modular pipes for transferring items, fluids, energy, and redstone signals. These miniature systems can share a single block space with each other and Tiny Redstone circuits (requires the corresponding mod).
Compact Design
Each mini pipe is 1/8th of a block in height, width, and depth, creating an 8×8×8 grid within one block for efficient layouts. This allows for complex systems in limited space.
Flexible Connection Control
Connections are configured using a wrench — right-click to cycle through disabled, enabled, and input modes (where applicable). Alternatively, use an empty hand to open a GUI for controlling all six sides. Each segment can be deactivated with a redstone signal for precise control.
Pipe Types
Item Pipes
These pipes transfer items between inventories. Each connection moves 2 items per second (configurable). For faster transfer, use multiple connectors or speed upgrades with full-sized pipes.
Item Filter Pipes
Function similarly to regular item pipes but right-clicking with an empty hand opens a filter GUI. You can specify items to allow or disallow (whitelist/blacklist). Filters can be placed anywhere in your network for flexible inventory management.
Fluid Pipes
Transfer fluids between tanks at 500mB (half a bucket) per second per connection (configurable). Increase transfer speed by using multiple connectors or speed upgrades with full-sized pipes.
Fluid Filter Pipes
Nearly identical to standard fluid pipes but with filtering capabilities through a dedicated interface. You can define which fluids are allowed or prohibited. Filters can be placed anywhere in your network for efficient fluid handling.
Energy Pipes
Transfer Forge Energy (also known as RF). Each connection moves 256 FE/tick (configurable). For faster transfer, connect multiple connectors or apply speed upgrades with full-sized pipes.
Redstone Pipes
Provide lossless redstone signal transmission, supporting up to 16 simultaneous signals (corresponding to 16 dye colors). Inputs and outputs are managed with a wrench. Set the color frequency by right-clicking with a dye (dye is not consumed). Each output only transmits signals from inputs of the same color. By default, all channels are set to red.
