Tinkers Aether
Tinkers Aether is an extension for the Tinker's Construct mod that enhances its capabilities by incorporating materials from Aether Legacy. This enables the creation of unique tools and weapons with special characteristics.
Available Materials
The mod adds various materials for tool crafting:
- Skyroot - celestial wood
- Holystone - sacred stone
- Zanite - zanite mineral
- Gravitite - gravitite
- Golden Amber - golden amber
- Valkyrie Metal - valkyrie metal
- Swet - slimy substance
- Candy Cane - candy cane
- Cold Aercloud - cold aercloud
- Blue Aercloud - blue aercloud
- Golden Aercloud - golden aercloud
- Icestone - ice stone
Each material possesses unique properties corresponding to their counterparts from the original Aether Legacy mod.
Arrow Fletching Materials
Special materials are available for arrow creation:
- Skyroot leaves
- Golden oak leaves
- Crystal leaves
- Holiday leaves
- Golden feathers
Ranged Weapon
The mod introduces new weaponry - the dart shooter, which functions similarly to its prototype from Aether Legacy. It can fire all types of darts, including those created using the Tinker's Construct system.
Valkyrie Metal Features
The mod adds ingots, nuggets, and blocks of valkyrie metal, used for creating tools and weapons in the smeltery. Standard valkyrie equipment from Aether Legacy can also be crafted from them.
Valkyrie metal can be obtained through several methods:
- Smelting undamaged valkyrie armor in the smeltery
- Using victory medals in the enchanter (each medal gives one nugget)
- Finding in silver dungeon chests
Settings and Configuration
Starting from version 1.0.2, all materials can be individually disabled through configuration files. There is also the option to completely disable darts and dart shooters.
Future Plans
Developers plan to add smelteries made from sacred stone, which will have advantages over regular smelting setups. Integration with Construct's Armory for creating gloves and other equipment is also being considered.
