This mod adds various wooden frame blocks to Minecraft and a special tool for customizing their shape using a connective texture system.

Compatibility Requirements

For versions 1.20.1 and above, Fusion and Patchouli mods are required. For earlier versions, CTM is required.

Will there be a Fabric version?

Possibly, it's one of the priorities in the task list.

Are versions 1.20.1+ compatible with worlds from previous versions?

No, Timber Frames for 1.20.1+ was completely rewritten to improve performance and maintenance.

What changed during the rewrite?

Some features were changed, while others were temporarily removed for faster release. We switched from CTM to Fusion for handling connective textures. Barn-related blocks, the isolation variant, natural generation of soul clay (now crafted from clay and soul sand), and the broad knife recipe were removed. Barn blocks are planned to return in the future.

Can I use Optifine?

Maybe, but not recommended. For performance and graphics, Embeddium and Oculus mods are recommended.

Features and Plans

Are there variants for modded wood?

Not yet, but using Every Compat for dynamic wood variant additions is being considered.

What features are planned?

Currently focused on stabilizing this version and releasing other mods, but we plan to expand the connection system and add new blocks in the future.

Can I use this in my modpack or server?

Yes, provided it's downloaded from official sources.

What is Rasa Novum?

We're a small group of mostly amateur developers creating mods for our modpack and future server of the same name.

Timber frame textures are inspired by the Blockus mod by Brandcraft.
