Thut's Elevators
The Thut's Elevators modification adds functional elevators to Minecraft that can move between floors. The system supports up to 64 levels, with multiple controllers possible on each floor as long as they are touching each other.
Compatibility and Requirements
For Minecraft versions 1.8.9 and above, ThutCore installation is required.
Open Computers Functionality
The mod integrates with Open Computers and provides the following methods:
callFloor(floor_number)- calls the elevator to the specified floorcallYValue(y_coordinate)- moves the elevator to the given heightcallXValue(x_coordinate)- sets the elevator's position on the X axiscallZValue(z_coordinate)- sets the elevator's position on the Z axissetFloor(floor_number)- assigns a floor to the controllergetYValue()- returns the current height of the elevatorgetXValue()- returns the current X positiongetZValue()- returns the current Z positiongetFloor()- shows the controller's assigned floorgetFloorYValue(floor_number)- determines the height of the specified floorisReady()- checks if the elevator is available
Control and Configuration
To configure the controller, use right-click with a stick or linking device. To switch the controller interface page, right-click with a linker. Floor assignment is done via Shift + right-click with a linker.
Touching controllers automatically combine into one floor, allowing for large control panels.
Removal and Changes
To remove an elevator, use Shift + right-click with a vanilla stick or wrench from another mod.
In versions 2.0 and newer, elevator construction is simplified - only the base is required, walls and roof are no longer needed.
Outdated Information
The following instructions are only relevant for older versions before 1.8.9:
If rails are broken, the elevator starts spinning rapidly. To stop this, either replace the rails or dismantle the elevator using the method mentioned above.
