Thief Tweaks
This modification package offers various improvements and settings for the Thief's Hood from the Environmental mod. Unlike previous versions, it lacks the functions for renaming hoods and anonymous chat communication - instead, the developer focused on simpler but useful changes that make using this item more interesting in social terms. All functions can be customized to your preferences.
Anonymity Settings
Only two main functions are active by default:
- When killing creatures while wearing the hood, the player's name is not displayed in the victim's death messages
- When dying while wearing the hood, the player's identity is also hidden in the corresponding death message
Important note: server logs will still record the real player information for maintaining order, regardless of whether they died themselves or killed someone else.
Experience for Player Kills
This refers not to regular experience points for enchantments, but to special points for leveling up explorer armor characteristics. By default, the hood gains experience for killing monsters, but with this mod you can change this system:
- Ability to gain experience for killing other players (disabled by default)
- Amount of experience per killed player (default: 1)
- Gaining experience when killing the same player repeatedly (disabled)
- Exclusive hood leveling only through player kills (disabled)
Additional Features
These functions work only when the player is wearing the Thief's Hood:
- When receiving the invisibility effect, the player also gets Regeneration I (disabled)
- Each level of Stealth adds an extra 3 seconds to the Regeneration duration
- Knives deal additional damage (disabled)
- Each level of Stealth increases knife damage by 5% (starting at 10%)
- Compatibility with knives from the Farmer's Delight mod and their "Backstabbing" enchantment
- When attacking from behind, knives deal even more damage (requires installed Farmer's Delight)
Explorer Armor Level Settings
The mod allows changing the experience requirements for leveling up all four explorer armor items from Environmental. Important: levels still need to be earned, and each subsequent level must require more experience than the previous one.
Standard values from Environmental:

Required for operation:
- Environmental version 3.0.0 or higher
- Blueprint version 6.2.0 or higher
